(KJV) Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

(KJV) Exodus 16:12-19 I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD your God.

Stretching is important. Just bc it is a stretch for you, does not mean that it is not yours.

You have to become a reaching person. It's terrible to be entrapped in a place where you forget how to reach. If you run with I long enough you will be it. The children of Israel were enslaved for ten generations. revival begins with an awakening of who you are. The prodigal son came to himself.

Come to yourself. Know who you are.

Israel had forgotten who she was. Good people do get caught in bad things. They cried out to God to get them out of something they walked into. And he brought them out.

At the red sea, the walls collapsed on the imitator. You can't do what I can do.

It is easier to defeat an external enemy than an internal one. God brought them out of Egypt but hadn't gotten Egypt out of them. You came out but your mind didn't.

They were brought to a place where their appetites were foreign. God heard their murmuring and said He would send bread from heaven. They were all in their tents. When it came they didn't recognize it.

Your blessing will not look like your request. God's answer is better than your question. Thank him for the stuff he said no about.

Manna: what is it?

There's a blessing in Gods answer that you don't understand. The manna might not have been tasty but it was so string- his divine food- that their shoes didn't wear out for 40 yrs. He sustained them.

When you have been struggling, you tend to get to a safe place and stop. When you have survived trouble, you begin thanking God for things others don't understand.

They are meant to be travelers but they are praising God for the safety of the tent. They didn't get the blessing bc it wasn't delivered into the tent. God promised them the world but they were stuck in the tent. He had to break them out.

I'm going to send the manna close enough that you can see it.

I'm not going to put it in the tent because I'm going to use this next blessing to make you step outside your comfort zone.

If you stretch he's going to do a new thing in your life.

This tent is too small. Reach for it.

Tell your old friends- what God has for me is not here... This is my chance to reach.

He sent manna according to their capacity. Not too much not too little. If you reach, you can have everything you need. If you want more, you can have more. Don't stay with friends who have a one loaf mentality when yours is five.

Jesus told the man to pick up his bed. The man couldnt reach. You have developed a pathology built around your incapacity. You have developed a system if survival workin with a withered hand.

I know you can survive with a limitation but I'm going to heal you so that you can reach. Stretch!

Your blessing is within your reach, but you have to be prepared to stretch. Be a person that refuses to stay in the tent.
