Disappointment

1 Corinthians 13:3- have your body burn for God

We don't experience the blessings of God because we aren't walking in love: attitude

Our expectations of God is formed on external sources- not the Word

Failure to live up to the expectations of... Thwart, frustrate, disillusion, sadden

God never promised you a life without pain, he just promised eternal life

God is not our employer - this is not a performance based Christianity

Doing the right thing doesn't mean you won't struggle

Most of the disciples died a horrible death

Sometimes you feel like you're the only one in the world that God doesn't love- people use I as an excuse to go and do what they want to do

When we think this it is bc we don't really know God- we don't have a relationship with him

The willing and obedient will live off the fat of the land

Disappointment can cause us to question what you believe

If it's not in the Word, we should not buy into it
