The Power of Perception

Mark 6:1-6
(KJV) Mark 6:4 But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
:5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed [them].

Perception is everything.
Maybe you've been asking God to change the situation when you really need to ask God to change you to accept the situation.

The danger of a flawed perception.
They were astounded by his knowledge, his wisdom, and his works.
We fell in love with up that we missed the process. When you get good enough, you don't have to say you're good.
If you seek the position before you get the word. When you got it, you just got it.

From whence cometh this knowledge.
You have to take responsibility to get knowledge.
You have to learn beyond your situation.
You can't let your identity be defined by your associates. People will define you by go they met you. You can come from it, but not be defined by it.
Don't pray to go outside the box if you're not going to learn outside it.
Lord I'm available to you- but what can you do?

From whence cometh this wisdom?
Wisdom is different from wisdom. Knowledge gives you the information but wisdom gives you the insight to know how and when to use it.
You may be working hard, but are you working smart? You are supposed to get results. Jesus cursed the fog tree for not getting results. I am supposed to be blessed! I am supposed to be the head!
We gotta find out what's wrong. How can I have Jesus and not win?
Because if God is for you...
When you rise above where people expect you to be, they can't adjust. Because they have built their lived around you staying at a certain place. They are not happy about you getting up.

They were astonished at his works.
Instead of them celebrating, they were offended.
There are people who are offended by you doing well. Even Jesus was astounded- he marveled.
How are you offense by someone who is wise and smart and functional? Because they thought they knew him. They aren't malicious. They are limited.
A prophet is without honor nowhere save in his own country and with his own kin. And that is the greatest shock because that is where you are mist connected.
The two times Jesus applauded people for their faith, neither were church people.
People who are exposed to opportunities and do not take advantage of them are offended by everything.
Lazy people get offended first and ask questions later. Too quick to jump on limited perspective and limited information to think it through.

He gave them a chance but they blew it because of a flawed perception.
In the garden, Satan did not use one demon- he just played with her perception of the situation.
All of man fell over a false perception.
He told the woman who had been bowled over for 18 years: Woman, thou art loosed!
When your perception changes, you move differently, you think differently, you act differently.

Are you missing miracles in your life because you do not perceive the opportunity robbed valuable.
Are you limiting God's work in your life because of a limited perception.
God will meet you on the basis of your expectations. If you expect much, you will get much.
People who value what they have get twice as much out it.
Wonder what would happen in your life if you would change your perception of God.

I don't have time to sit here trying to fit in with you, when the time is now to get in line.
You are getting what you are thinking. If you think that's just the carpenter's son, that's all you are going to get.
All God is going to do is pass by- and almost everyone who got healed, got healed as He passed by.
If you don't want nothing, you won't get nothing.

Could it be possible that you have an outdated perception.
It's not that they don't know him, it's that they get too familiar with him.
Once you become common, you lose the power to do works.
Do you see this as an opportunity or an inconvenience? He moment you see it as an inconvenience, you lose he opportunity. Not because you don't know me, but because you don't appreciate me.
He's passing by.
Enter into the gates with Thanksgiving.
He cannot work in a room full of low expectations.
He that hungers and thirsts shall be filled.
God us the furnace but your attitude I'd the thermostat.
You will get no more than you perceive.
Anything you don't value...
